During this time period, I was a helper in tumbling classes 1 & 2, as well as helped instruct the younger kids (typically ages 4-8). I also spent time after hours at the studio cleaning the floors, ironing costumes during recital season, vacuuming, and helping the younger kids practice their competition tryout dances.
As a cashier, it was my job to ensure customers received a pleasant goodbye and make sure their shopping experience was a good one. During this time, I interacted a lot with customers, as well as answered any questions they may have had and direct them in the correct direction. Another part of my job was to organize shelves after hours, and help put things away.
Hy-Vee Cashier

Being a cashier at Hy-Vee was a bit different than being a cashier at Kohls. During my time at Hy-Vee, I spent a lot of time interacting with customers, weather that be during the checkout process, or directing them in their desired direction. At times when it was slower, I would spend time sanitizing my work station, as I was working during the Covid-19 Pandemic, as well as stock and organize shelves, and help customers having trouble at the self-checkout station. I ended my time there in the Wine & Spirits section, where I spent a lot of time cleaning shelves, pointing customers in their desired direction, and offering what little knowledge I had about alcohol.
